Cpu Usage 100% Pid 1204
Scanned with 2 virus scanners nothing shows.GeoffMonday, 03 October 2011 02:11:11 UTCI searched and read tons of blogs and forums and tried lots of different things and ran 100 different scans I updated the original post with another top output with kernel threads shown and where the overall CPU usage is 75.3%, but CPU usage in processes list is less than 2%. Does the CPU usage subside when you stop a specific service?When did the problem start? This is an old laptop of mine that my 13 year old daughter now uses, so could have been going on for a while as she's not that observant in these Maybe someone with a greater mind than mine can help you. Ultimately, the utility Process Explorer helped me drill down into my system to find the item consuming so much of my CPU's time.
