My next best guess is your CPU is overheating and it's a bad sensor. I have advised her not to even attempt to go near the computer until at least 20 minutes after she turns it on. For example, right now, My Task Manager is using 143,000K of memory and processor utilization stands at 98%. It will only occur when i'm in the middle of playing a CPU intensive game such as GTA V or Battlefield and my computer will, as I have been describing it, why not try these out

Just disable the Indexing stuff from your HDD and the wsearch service from the Service.msc Trust me, this indexing stuff takes a lot of your performance, specially in those old desktops.
